Join us at Myrtle’s Home and Me for our recently introduced Meets at Myrtle’s. This is a free event that takes place on the last Monday and Tuesday of every month. We invite guest speakers from a variety of different backgrounds and topic areas, including charities, businesses, volunteers and community groups, to talk about their subject area in an informal setting.
As a business we know how important community is and wanted to provide a space for the community to come together, chat and learn new things. The event is free, though spaces are limited to 20. There is no pressure to buy anything from ourselves or financially support the guest speaker, we just wanted to create a time and space for people to meet new faces and learn about what is going on in the wider community around them.
Below we have outlined the next three months of Meets at Myrtle’s and our guest speakers for each event.
Monday 28th September from 1pm – 2.30pm:
Chatting all things Cakes and Bakes
JoeJoe’s Bakes will be demonstrating cake decorating whilst talking about her business, her love of baking and providing some tips and tricks that you could use for baking at home.
